Und siehe da, nach dem Schnitt sind meine Haare 1,5cm gewachsen! Vielleicht sogar ein bisschen mehr, wenn man das allerletzte Haar misst. Na, 1,5cm klingt sowohl prima als auch realistisch, 2cm wären fast zu gut um wahr zu sein. Unterdessen ist mein Zopfumfang wieder auf 6,2cm „geklettert“, also im Vergleich zum Vormonat 1mm mehr. Das bedeutet letztlich, dass ich seit bald einem Jahr nun konstant bei knapp über 6cm liege. Ich lauere ja immer noch, ob sich da noch was tut.
New month, new post about my hairlength! And hey, my hair grew 1,5cm since the last cut! Maybe it grew even a bit more if you measure the very last hair. Well, 1,5cm sounds both nice and realistic, 2cm would be just too good. Meanwhile my ponytailcircumference „rose“ so 6,2cm which is 1mm more than last month. This means, that I have the same circumference for almost a year now, constantly slightly over 6cm. I still wonder if there can be more.
How about some social media stereotype? Around me was all messy chaos.

94,5cm Gesamtlänge und der Entschluss die Haare diesen Monat noch dran zu lassen und dann, zwei Monate nach dem letzten Schnitt, zum Jahreswechsel wieder zu trimmen. Auf keinen Fall später, denn meine Spitzen haben etwas gelitten. Vielleicht habt ihr es auf Instagram gesehen, ich habe die 10.000 Abonnenten voll gemacht (Waaaahnsinn, oder? Und das mit meinen zarten Härchen in einer nun echt nicht exorbitanten Länge, und ja) und habe das gefeiert mit Extensions am Schädel und Lockenstablocken dazu. Mensch, das sah so GUT aus! Ich hätte das so gern öfter.
94,5cm length and the decision to let my hair untouched this month and then, two months after the last cut, to trimm when the new year begins. I won’t wait any longer, because my tips really suffered a bit. Maybe you saw it on Instagram that I hit the 10k milstone there (Isn’t this crazy? I mean, me! The girl with the fragile hair which even hasn’t got a super special length or so, well, I am more than flattered!) and I celebrated that with a head of extensions and curlingiron curls. Oh my dear, that looked so good! I would love to wear this more often!
Aber meine Haare so: Nö!
Die Quittung habe ich allerdings sofort bekommen. Meine Haare mögen das eindeutig sowas von gar nicht: Spliss und Bruch vor allem in den letzten 10-15cm. Also, tja, so gern ich solche Locken öfter hätte und so gern ich ich ab und zu denke: „Ach was egal, mach einfach schön, Haarschonung ist nicht alles!“ Nein, leider wird das mit meiner Haarstruktur nichts. Ich muss schonen, wenn ich Länge will. Ich habe nicht solches Haar wie viele andere Social Media Mädels, das man föhnen und locken und glätten kann und die einzige Konsequenz ist für sie, dass sie vielleicht nicht bis zum Klassiker kommen, aber immerhin stabil bis zur Hüfte. Nö. Bei mir ist mit Hitzestyling bei BSL Schluss. Weiß ich noch von früher, hat sich nichts dran geändert. Nun denn.
But my hair just said no. It obviously doesn’t like heatstyling at all. I have significanly more split ends and even breakage in the lower 10-15cm now. So well, even though I would love to have that look more often and telling myself: „Ah, come on! Just dress up, hairfriendlyness is not everything!“, no, this does not work for me. With my hairstructure I have to be super gentle and caring. I don’t have hair like many other girls you see on social media who can blow out and curl and straighten their hair with the only consequence, that they maybe cannot reach classic length, but hiplength is perfectly fine for them. Nope. If I use heatstyling the end of my longhairjourney would be reached at BSL because I remember that from older days and nothing changed. So well.

Jetzt bin ich gespannt auf die Länge zum Jahreswechsel. Angepeilt ist dabei ein Schnitt, der meine Haare dann irgendwo zwischen 90 und 93cm enden lassen sollte. Länge halten, nachdicken lassen. Jetzt, da ich erst mal nicht mehr weiter auf Länge gehe, sollte sich da sehr bald etwas optisch am Spitzenvolumen tun. Da freue ich mich total drauf.
Anyways, the look was really pretty and I enjoyed it. Trial and error. I am really excited about my hairlength at the end of the year. I plan to trim to have a length of around 90-93cm afterwards. Maintaining, letting my regrowth catch up. Now that I don’t groew my hair any longer for a while, there should be progress visible in the thickness of the lengths soon. And I am really, really looking forward to this.
